THE BREAKDOWN
If you follow me, you know I can't leave it be. So, here are my ramblings about my answers. Take 'em or leave 'em my friends.
Listening - We live in a neighborhood about a mile away from the Fairgrounds. Sigh . . . the joys of living in a little as all get out town. Our Annual Bull + Gelding Sale is going on this weekend. It's great for our town's economy, but horrible for my sleeping patterns :)
Loving - Uh . . . I'm a football junkie and it just so happens that my team got in to the big game this year. LET'S GO BRONCOS!!!! I will be sad when my Sunday afternoons aren't filled with the sounds of cheering crowds and hard hits, but Super Bowl Sunday is one of the best days of the year.
Thinking - See listening :)
Wanting - my tummy is on strike tonight, but then again, ain't it always?? I'm usually pretty tough about it, but it's making me cranky. Dear GUTS . . . Give it a rest already. I'm done with you! Peace out - KDogg
Needing - I am presenting at the upcoming Southern California Kinder Conference with some amazing blogger buddies at the end of the month. I am really feeling the need to put the finishing touches on my presentation. If you are interested in attending, click the pict to learn more :)
Truth 1 - I was in marketing and promotions for 5 years before going back to school to get a teaching credential. During my last week at the local ABC affiliate, I got a call from the FOX Television Studios in LA asking me to come work for them. I said, "Sorry . . . I'm going back to school to be a teacher."
Truth 2 - fish turning up on a dinner or lunch plate is my worst nightmare. The texture, taste, smell, all those little bones . . . pretty much everything about it makes me want to barf. However, I LOVE tuna fish sandwiches. Crazy, huh??
A Lie - I am very shy or quiet. Yeah, right. I love life, laughing is one of my favorite pastimes, and people can usually hear me coming. I don't mean to be so loud and kooky . . . but, it's just how I roll. Oh, and if a friend or coworker needs someone else to act like a total dip in front of a large crowd, I'm usually the first person asked :)
Alright friends. I am off to put in those ear plugs. Be sure to pop on over to Farley's blog and meet some new friends. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit me. I'll catch ya again VERY soon!
Secretly rooting for your Broncos too...since the Seahawks defeated my Niners!!! :) I'll be at the SoCal bloggy bash so I hope to see ya there!! Glad to have found your blog through the linky!

Sailing into Second
We have a neighbor who blasts his country music at all hours. He doesn't seem to understand people outside of his house (and even inside our walls) can hear his music. So, I totally feel your pain. I would have gone to bed already if he had turned it down awhile ago. Sigh.
ReplyDeletehaha…I was in school for TV Productions before switching to education. I use to want to be an anchor!! :) LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteHope you got some rest, no bull! :P
I love that you started out in marketing! Something I NEVER would have known! And I also love that you enjoy football so much - my sister is a HUGE Broncos fan and I sooo wish she was able to go to the big game, but watching it on TV is the next best thing! Good luck to your boys!

Best of luck at the So Cal Conference! It looks like an amazing all-star line-up of bloggers! I'm a tad envious that I can't go!

I agree, you are in great company for that conference! Sorry about the noise you've had to endure, but I had to laugh at the title of that event! :) I wish I could be that fearless-you sound like a really fun person to have around!
