With all this said, I am ready to get to gettin' on all this fun. I was lucky enough to get booed by THREE lovely peeps - Tori from Tori's Teacher Tips, Miss Nelson from Run Miss Nelson's got the Camera, and Bunting, Books, and Bainbridge. If you haven't checked out their blogs, you really should . . . I promise you won't be disappointed.
October is my favorite month. Not only is the weather changing, but it is an absolutely magical time in the classroom. The kids are so jazzed about everything "spooky" and this is about the time that they've hit their stride (academic and behavior-wise). Here are a couple October Goodies that I am diggin' on right now.
Susan's mini-unit is fantastic and has the cutest craft/write ev-ah! |
You can't ever go wrong with a Katie King ditty! |
The Bubbly Blonde is always amazing . . . and so is this pack! |
These Good Morning Work packs (reading and math) have proven to be a great resource this October. Shhhh . . . don't tell . . . I made 'em :) |
I have to take a moment to slip in a quick book or two as well. I have so many Halloween books that my little display shelf can't hold them all. I had to place two tubs on either side of the racks to get 'em all within' the kiddos' reach. Here are a few of my faves . . .
Now, with all that said, it's my turn to boo a few others. So, here's a big old BOO to the following bloggy buddies . . .
Be sure you check out these amazing blogs and the rest of the "booed" crew over at Tori's Tips for Teachers and The 2nd Grade Pad. There are some uber-awesome resources (paid and free) being highlighted by others . . . you just might find that special activity that your Halloween file has been looking for.
Many thanks for taking the time to visit me today! I will be back soon with my latest packet (WOW vs. BLAH Sentences) and a couple more Halloween freebies!! October Break, how I love you!
