WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS . . . GETS POSTED ON YOUR BLOG

Hello blog land!  What a trip . . . what a TRIP!  From spending quality time with the hubby to meeting the most amazing crew of ladies on the planet at the Blogger Meet-Up, this is a vacay I will never forget.  I promised lots of pictures so here it goes . . .

This is how our Sin City trip started.  My husband loves to mess with me in the car.  I mean we are talkin' poking, tickling, bad singing, wet willies, gross boy stuff, and something I like to call the "Camera Attack . . . "

KNOCK IT OFF, TRAVIS!!!
We arrived and we had a ball messing around at the Mirage and the Venetian. We ate too much (my guts are officially on strike), sweated 1/2 our body weight out at the pool, and snuck in a little shopping.  It was so nice to get away with my honey - we laughed until our bellies hurt.  I heart my man :)

After sleeping in (there was not a cat to jump on me at 5:30), we played around out and about on the strip until 4-ish.  Then, it was time to get ready to match up with two of my favorite ladies before the meet-up.  Susan from TGIF (Thank God It's First Grade) and Stephanie from Falling into First.

It's funny . . . this whole cyber land thing.  Both of these gals were just as I imagined - sweet as all get out!  During our "pre-game" chat it was as if we had known each other for years.

Then, it was on to the MAIN EVENT . . . the BIG OLE BLOGGER MEET-UP.  Steph, Susan, and I finally found our way to the conference room and were greeted by a line of ladies that would make any teacher's heart stop - Michelle, Hope, Rachelle, Anna, and Cheryl.  (As the famous Fran from Kindergarten Crayons said, "It was like attending the Oscars.")  Then we walked inside and found  Kathleen, Deanna, Deedee, Kim, Fran, Crystal, Natalie, and Melissa waiting to chat it up with us.  It was amazing.  These ladies were so open and "real."  Some of them even knew who I was . . . little old me :)  I was honored and grinnin' ear to ear!

Just take a look at this crew . . . take a moment . . . catch your breath.  I had to :)
In addition to the lovely women above, I also met Michelle from Apples & ABC's, Cindy from For the Love of Kindergarten, and Alessia from Mrs. Albanese's Kindergarten Class.  These gals were so much fun!

There were lots of prizes given away at this thing too - we all won something :) Check out some of the action and group shots I captured throughout the night.

WOW!!  It's Kim Adsit from Kinder Gals and Kathleen Pedersen from Growing Kinders :)
OMG . . . It's Cheryl from Primary Graffiti!  I heart this girl :)
Gettin' crazy!
It's Allie and Megan - be sure to check out Miss Murray's Kinder Monkeys!
It's my hero . . . Anna Brantley in the flesh.  I have died and gone to teacher heaven.
Oh look . . . MORE heroes.  Michelle Oakes, Anna Brantley, Hope King, and Melissa Kozerski!

Susan was a big winner!!!
Well, that's my vacay in a nutshell (other than going on a huge Blackjack run with the hubs after the meet up -- ended up paying for our trip)!  Attending a meet up was the best decision I have made since I started blogging.  It was such an inspiration.  To all of you bloggers out there (big or small) . . . put on your big girl panties and GO to one of these!  It will change your life :)

I am sure that you already follow all of these amazing ladies, but just in case you have missed out on one of them, I have made it super easy for you down below.  Just click on their button to pay 'em a little visit.  You'll be glad you did!

Alright y'all.  I am off to work on my Fantastic Football packet.  ESPN is starting to talk fantasy again and I am all amped.  Gonna let all this excitement flow out in my latest unit :).  Thank you so much for taking the time to visit . . . I'll see you soon.

One LAST thing . . . I wanted to give a little shout out to my friend Dana over at Fun in 1st Grade.  She is having a 300 follower giveaway and has some great items up for grabs (I even got to participate in this one).  TODAY is the last day so, go on, click that button!!!

  25. This post is hilarious and I need to be your friend. I am definately coming to see you at the California conference and we can meet up with Heidi, Cindy, and some other amazing bloggers. I thought the night was magical and the week flew by. Rachelle did such a great job of putting this together and now I need to do laundry, pack for another training, shop for food, and enter the real world again! It was fabulous to meet you and I want to put your enthusiasm in a can and sell it on TpT to burnt out teachers! I could be a rich, old woman. right? See you in January friend! Woops, I am going to follow you too.
