MEMORY MAKERS - END OF THE YEAR FREEBIE

Ok . . . ok . . . so I didn't get my office cleaned, but I did finish Book 3 of the Hunger Games!  I wish I could start 'em all over again.  However, I am glad to be back to bloggin' and life in general!

Thank you Scrappin' Doodles for the cute camera!

I managed to come up with a craftivity that I am going to use once Open House is out of the way.  We will still have two weeks left and I want to keep the walls as full as possible (with new stuff) until the very last minute.  This craftivity is called MEMORY MAKERS and the kids get to "capture" their favorite first grade memories.  You can pick this up for FREE in my TPT store.

I also think I am going to turn this into a writing assignment when I eventually get to it.  I am going have my kiddos complete the writing template below using the cloze, "My favorite first grade memory is ..." (I left this cloze off of the template so you all could create a write that fits your specific classroom/grade level needs)!

Well . . . Happy Sunday folks.  I pledge to be a better blogger this week.  I am off to mow the lawn (my cardio for the day) and soak in some rays :).

    1. Thanks!! I came up with it the other night when my hubby and I were laughing about how we always FORGET to take pictures when we are on vacation!

  4. Thanks for visiting my blog. I am so glad you did because it led me to your blog, which I LOVE! The design is so appealing (I love the factory graphic in your header and the background patterns) and you have GREAT content! Your blog is one of those that I am going to go back and read every post. I will have to add that to my summer bucket list, although I am sure I will end up doing it before...lesson plans can always wait! :)

I am going to be fitting in the Memory Making craftivity this week. My students work so hard in writing, and I love rewarding them with a fun craft to go with their writing once they are done. This will be perfect.

I love that you keep new stuff up until the end. It is always so depressing when people start taking things down and the hallways and classrooms become bare. Every day and minute counts!
